Investment Details for Destination Wedding Photography in Italy

Close Enough Photography provides destination wedding & ELOPEMENT photography in Italy for multi-day celebrations across Lake Como, Tuscany, Rome, and beyond.

INVESTING IN A VISUAL HERITAGE

Photography is the only element of your celebration that gains value as time passes.
It becomes your family’s first modern heirloom — a living archive of the people, the atmosphere, and the fleeting connections that define your history.

Commissioning photography at this level is not a transactional choice. It is an intentional decision to entrust the memory of a once-in-a-lifetime experience to a studio with a clear point of view, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work with discretion in complex environments.

Our work is shaped by presence, authorship, and time — elements that cannot be scaled or rushed. For this reason, we accept a limited number of commissions each year.

We approach each commission not as a service to be performed, but as a narrative to be authored with intention and care.

THE SHAPE OF THE STORY

A complete Narrative

We do not view your wedding through the lens of coverage hours or itemized lists. Instead, our involvement is designed around the natural rhythm of your celebration.

Whether your story unfolds over a single afternoon in a Tuscan estate or spans several days across the grand villas of Lake Como, our presence remains constant and unhurried.

This approach ensures visual continuity across every chapter of your journey — allowing the editorial language of the studio to remain cohesive from the first welcome dinner to the final farewell.

STARTING INVESTMENT

PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIONS FOR DESTINATION WEDDINGS IN ITALY BEGIN AT 4.000 €

PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTIONS FOR ELOPEMENTS BEGIN AT 2.500 €

This figure reflects a level of involvement designed to preserve continuity, depth, and creative clarity — from early consultation through the completion of the final archive.

All commissions include a complete photographic narrative appropriate to the scale of the celebration, carefully edited and curated with an editorial approach. Guidance is offered when needed, while discretion remains central throughout the experience.

The result is a body of work intended to endure — images that retain their meaning, atmosphere, and relevance well beyond the day itself.
It accounts for the authorship of the visual narrative, the logistical fluency required for international celebrations, and the focused presence necessary to work within complex, high-level environments.

Most commissions include full-day wedding photography coverage, with additional days available for welcome events, boat days, and farewell gatherings.

Commissions most often take place in Lake Como, Tuscany, and Rome, though we travel throughout Italy and Europe.

Following an initial conversation to understand the scope and cadence of your celebration, we provide a bespoke proposal tailored to your specific itinerary.

Factors such as location, season, and access play a significant role, which is why understanding how different Italian destinations shape an elopement or intimate wedding can be helpful early on.

To see how this approach translates across real celebrations, you may explore a selection of complete wedding stories in the portfolio.

  • Absolutely. The studio is built specifically for the rhythm and complexity of destination events. Visual continuity across days, places, and atmospheres is approached with care, allowing each chapter to feel distinct while belonging to a cohesive narrative.

  • The approach is observant rather than directive. Moments are allowed to unfold naturally, with subtle guidance offered only when it serves the flow of the day. This balance allows for authentic storytelling alongside refined, editorial portraits.

We collaborate only with a small circle of exceptionally talented videographers whose vision, pacing, and aesthetic align closely with our own. Recommendations are made selectively, ensuring cohesion across the final body of work.

Final images are delivered within six months in a private, password-protected online gallery, with high-resolution downloads and easy sharing for family and guests

  • Payment is divided into three instalments: a 30% retainer to confirm the booking, followed by 40% due 90 days before the wedding, with the remaining balance settled shortly before the celebration. This structure is designed to support a calm and organized planning process.

  • Most bookings take place around a year in advance, particularly for peak seasons. That said, availability can vary, and the studio always welcomes inquiries regardless of timeline. If your date is approaching, you are encouraged to reach out directly to explore availability.

  • Travel and accommodation are quoted separately following an initial conversation. As we work across Italy and Europe throughout the season, logistics are evaluated based on your specific location and itinerary, and outlined clearly within your bespoke proposal.

  • Our studio - Close Enough Photography - is based in Italy and works throughout the country, with a particular focus on Lake Como, Tuscany, Rome, and other historically and culturally rich locations. International commissions are considered selectively when the vision and context align.

  • Yes. Engagement sessions and editorial pre-wedding shoots are available and often recommended, particularly for destination weddings. They offer an opportunity to build familiarity and create imagery in a relaxed, unhurried context.

  • Depending on the scale and structure of the celebration, additional photographers may be recommended to ensure seamless coverage. This is discussed during the planning phase and tailored to the needs of each event.

  • Beyond wedding photography, the studio offers editorial portrait sessions, engagement sessions, and bespoke storytelling commissions. Albums and fine-art prints are available as curated, heirloom-quality additions.

  • Once your inquiry is received, we arrange an online meeting to connect and understand your vision.
If you are planning a visit to Italy — or if our paths naturally cross — I would be genuinely glad to meet in person when possible.
